This section is for items usable on the field, those that help build Upgrades at the Shelter, or one of the basic necessities of survival.

Field Items[ | ]

These are items that are useful in the field.

Adrenaline Shot[ | ]

Adrenaline
  • When you've got no medic and your friend is going into shock, an adrenaline shot might be your only shot to save them. Use on KO'd allies to restore them.
  • Equipped in an Item slot.

Energy Drink[ | ]

Flashback
  • A drink filled with loads of caffeine, sugar, and a lot of other stuff that doesn't matter. Cures Fatigue when used.
  • Equipped in an Item slot.

Fishing Pole[ | ]

Fishingpole
  • A freshwater fishing pole, complete with lures.
  • Held in inventory.
  • Needed to harvest fish on the World Map.

Lockpick[ | ]

Lockpick
  • A professional locksmith's tool for opening locked doors. Very useful to those who know how to properly use it.
  • Unlocking doors relies on the Mechanical skill of the person who has equipped the lockpick.
  • Equipped in an Item slot.

Soothinum[ | ]

Soothinum
  • Say no to nerves by Soothinum! A small amount of pills that reduce anxiety and panic. Taken to prevent Panic in allies temporarily.
  • Gives the Soothed buff, which grants an immunity to Panic for the day.
  • Equipped in an Item slot.

Stuporax[ | ]

Stuporax
  • Stuporax - take one day at a time! Anti-depressants that instantly raise mood in allies. You might be stronger if you don't need them, but taking pills raises your morale faster.
  • Gives the Clarity buff, which grants a 25% bonus to accuracy for 3 rounds.
  • Equipped in an Item slot.

Upgrade Items[ | ]

These are items required to build Upgrades in the Shelter.

.38 Snubnose[ | ]

38Snubnose
  • This is one of the most common pistols, and is considered a very low-end model of handgun. While light and all-around reliable, its short barrel and size make it less accurate than other guns.
  • Equipped in a Weapon slot.
  • Also required to build a Shooting Range upgrade.

Bag of Cement[ | ]

Bag-of-cement
  • A large bag of cement.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Used to create the Reinforced Fence upgrade.

Chicken[ | ]

Chicken
  • This chicken is surprisingly calm at being picked up and carried around - likely a docile breed meant for keeping in small coops, not factory farms.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Stocked in Chicken Coop upgrade if it exists, otherwise turned into Provisions.

Claw Hammer[ | ]

ClawHammer
  • A standard steel hammer with a plastic-coated grip, this tool's previous life consisted of driving in nails or prying apart sections of plywood. Still, its simplicity belies its effectiveness as a corpse-killing tool.
  • Equipped in a Weapon slot.
  • Also required to build a Wood Fence upgrade.

Crowbar[ | ]

Crowbar
  • Crafted from medium carbon steel, this is an average-sized crowbar, sturdy and capable. While not flashy or especially efficient at dispatching enemies, it nonetheless is a solid weapon, and assists in opening sealed containers to boot. Somehow holding this weapon both makes you feel tough and slightly nerdy.
  • Equipped in a Weapon slot.
  • Also required to build a Well upgrade.

Dumbbell[ | ]

Dumbbell
  • Used for staying in shape and packing on muscle.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Required to build the Gym upgrade.

DVD Player[ | ]

DVD player
  • Used for watching movies, provided there is power.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Required to build the Rec Room upgrade.

DVDs[ | ]

DVDs
  • A collection of various DVDs, ranging from seasons of TV shows to action moves to melodramatic romances. There's something in here for everyone - especially since boredom makes one much more inclined to watch anything.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Required to build the Rec Room upgrade.

Microscope[ | ]

Microscope
  • Used by scientists for delicate research.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Needed to craft the Science Lab upgrade.

Pipe Wrench[ | ]

Wrench
  • An adjustable wrench made from heavy iron. Clatters a bit when a heavy blow is delivered, but still capable of dealing a lot of damage without too much of a racket.
  • Equipped in a Weapon slot.
  • Also required to build a Garage upgrade.

Seed Packets[ | ]

Seed packet
  • Collected packets of various common fruit and vegetable seeds, including some sunflowers.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Needed to craft the Rooftop Garden upgrade.

Toolbox[ | ]

Toolbox
  • A collection of quality tools used for delicate and heavy-duty crafting. Required for construction of certain upgrades at the Shelter.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Used to help repair the Fence, and build the Recycler, Workshop, and Mobile Radio Upgrades.

Welding Torch[ | ]

Welding-torch
  • Used for auto-repairs and other metalwork.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Required to build the Greenhouse Upgrade.

Survival Items[ | ]

These are items needed to help succeed in the game aside from Provisions and Luxury Items.

Fuel[ | ]

Fuel
  • Fuel for use in generators, cars, and manufactured items.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Used to power the Generator, and power your Car.

Parts[ | ]

Parts
  • A collection of parts used in construction or repairs.
  • Carried in inventory, and unloaded at the Shelter.
  • Used to build every upgrade in the game.
  • Constructing the Recycler upgrade enables you to break up weapons and armor to create this.
