Trivia[ | ]

This location's name is likely a tribute to actor Ken Foree, who portrayed protagonist Peter in George Romero's original Dawn of the Dead (1978). This becomes effectively a double reference given that the location bearing his name is in fact a barricaded mall, complete with opposing factions whose conflicts led to an apparent collapse of perimeter security.

Notes[ | ]

1 When encountered Watch shows a chat option, but immediately turns hostile without any conversation taking place. It might be conceivable that a more elaborate scenario was anticipated as the setup in the mall feels almost like it was a kind of Yojimbo setup, with the thugs on one side and the bad cops on the other and the zombies in between. The thugs have no name, except for the dog being called Angel, which seems peculiar as in many other places where dogs are encountered they are simply called attack dog or vicious dog.
