A young woman with some medical skills from her veterinary training, Renee frequently worries about her mother Anita, and will come to the player to convince them to keep her back at the Shelter. Anita is a melee fighter, and leaving her behind at the beginning of the game (or not) is an early decision the player will have to make.
She and her mother are among the ally characters the Player starts the game with.
