Introduction[]

Texas State Fair (a farm type of location), but not really a typical farm. It's a carnival and the creepy people that used to lived there are still around.

Layout[]

This is a fair with dozens of small stalls and attractions. You enter through the main gate and then get funneled through the fair. At the back, where the employees used to live, you get confronted by the clowns and carnies. Part of the fair, left from the main entrance, is not accessible.

Location[]

The fair is located 5 miles to the southwest from Austin along Interstate 35. Found in the south-eastern corner of the map

Resources[]

Few things, not enough to mention. The place has mostly tools.

Notable Loot[]

  • One of the clowns wears a hazmat suit. As far as I can tell the only one in the entire game. It would have been handy in the Chemical Plant, but it is only one.

Doors, locks and alarms[]

There are no locked doors and no alarms.

Allies & Neutrals[]

None.

Enemies[]

  • Zombies
  • Carnies and Clowns

Zombies[]

There are no zombies when you enter this place.

Carnies and Clowns[]

This location is has a small group of poorly armed but creepy people. About six of them.

They are all armed with tools as melee weapons and poorly protected. Not much better than looters.

The exception is the large carnie, who seems to be equipped like a coyote brawler with a railroad hammer and football gear.

By the time you arrive here you breeze through them and I don't feel like listing them.

Remarks[]

  • This place both unique and creepy. An unseen carnie will start talking to you and because you get funneled through a labyrinth you feel like an ambush is in the making. I find it one of the better places in the game, as brief the experience is.
  • Zombies will almost not spawn here. During the whole encounter I only used the combat shotgun and only
